Weekly Challenges

Weekly challenges are programming tasks that are designed to test the knowledge of emerging developers. Weekly challenges can range from creating a specified themed application to creating a unique algorithm to solve a problem in the most effective way. They also have varying levels of difficulty and multiple challenges can be posted in a week. Generally, they will be posted on monday and can be submitted till friday for review. During the weekend a winner will be chosen and added to a list of respected developers. Special challenges dealing with difficult algorithms and extended time periods can result in prizes such as achieving certified developer status and earning a spot in the developer blogs. Suggestions for weekly challenges can be sent to challenges@iphonedevcentral.org
